Stéphane Rolland will perform at Barcelona Bridal Night as an international guest label

French haute couture will take center stage in Barcelona next spring. Following in the footsteps of designers such as Elie Saab, Viktor & Rolf, Giambattista Valli and Vivienne Westwood, Stéphane Rolland will headline the next edition of Barcelona Bridal Night, the flagship event of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. The designer will present his work in Spain for the first time with a parade with 80 creations, including 20 new looks specially designed for the occasion, on April 22, 2026 in Hall 8 of the Montjuïc venue.

“Barcelona is a city that shares haute couture's appreciation for form, volume and artistic expression,” Rolland said. “My dresses are emotional architectures and this will be a unique occasion to celebrate with an international audience in a deeply cultural environment.”

A member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, Rolland founded his maison in 2007 after working at houses such as Balenciaga and Jean-Louis Scherrer, where he became the youngest artistic director on the French haute couture scene. With a style that fuses the tradition of French haute couture with a sculptural vision, combining technique, theatricality and art, its designs have been worn by figures such as Lady Gaga, Céline Dion, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Nieves Álvarez.

“Having Stéphane Rolland for the tenth anniversary of Bridal Night marks a milestone that reflects our commitment to excellence,” said the director of the bridal fashion event, Albasarí Caro. “His presence further elevates the artistic caliber of the event and confirms Barcelona as the world epicenter of design and haute couture.”

As part of the event's commitment to young talent, the parade will feature the participation of 24 students from the Barcelona schools IED (Istituto European di Design), ESDI (Escola Superior de Disseny) and LCI Barcelona, ​​​​who will open the parade with original pieces created in collaboration with the French maison. For six months they will work with fabrics provided by Gratacós to give life to their designs before sharing the catwalk with Rolland's creations. In Caro's words, “at BBFW we are committed to giving visibility and opportunities to the city's new talents”, highlighting that “supporting young designers means guaranteeing the constant renewal and excellence of the sector.”

The Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Department of Business and Labor of the Generalitat of Catalonia, will be held from April 22 to 26, 2026 at the Montjuïc venue. The next edition will have more than 400 exhibiting brands and nearly 40 designers on the catwalk, consolidating itself as an international benchmark in bridal, ceremony and red carpet fashion.
