Staud Fall 2024 Runway Review, Fashion Show and Ready-to-Wear Collection

“Unlike any of our other collections where I always have a trip or a place, this is really a collection that was designed and inspired by a feeling. It was about creating a collection and rather a wardrobe that would give our woman the ability to be genuinely effortless and the joy one feels in doing so. It is a line that encourages you not to think too much, plan ahead or try too hard to create a look, but instead encourages you to do the opposite,” Sarah Staudinger said of her fall collection.

The outing gave rise to a simple, elegant and mature Staud collection that touched on the minimalist fashion of the urban-minded late 80s and early 90s: quiet luxury, with a Staud touch. The hue began with an oversized ponte jacket with shoulder pads and new high-waisted pants, flat versions of the brand's signature Wally boot, and a “third layer” scarf (a big emphasis throughout the collection). Other neutral monochrome looks that felt especially suited for fall came in the form of a '90s-style three-layer brown leather ensemble or a fitted mohair knit dress.

Sophisticated and modern versions of the era's inspirations continued with the classic pencil skirts; poplin shirt dresses; Two-in-one layered knits (like a chunky gray crewneck with built-in wide collar) and tailored crepe and herringbone styles (a feminine seamed dress or a big “stretchy and messy” square-neck tank top with suit skirt elongated, topped with new clothes). skater belts with embossed silver logo) and more.

As well as basic, mostly flat footwear and an expanded variety of practical bags (minimalist women's bags, a mini oxblood suede circular canvas bag, New Moon bags, etc.), outerwear was a big emphasis for the season and ranged from a new suede jacket to elegant pieces. From brushed alpaca “chic bathrobe” coats to capes and wrap shawls for day and night.

Even evening wear was tackled with ease, as seen through a sheer and iridescent ink-colored Japanese organza dress with a high neck, a little black knit dress, and a silk slip with beaded X-ray flowers, or a worn deep red silk satin strapless dress. on a matching button.

Without complications and with an elegant wardrobe? Check. Won't that break the bank? Double check.
