Silvia Tcherassi Fall 2024 Ready to Wear Catwalk, Fashion Show and Collection Review

Silvia Tcherassi's fall 2024 collection is aimed at the woman on the move with silhouettes and fabrics that are durable and climate-appropriate, while embodying the brand's signature feminine aesthetic.

“The woman on the go doesn't have time to steam her suit,” said Sofia Tcherassi, the brand's ready-to-wear director. “We are always thinking about all these events that women can have, all the cities they will go to and making each collection appropriate for the woman on the go: the woman who lives in the Delta Sky Club who never stops traveling. ”.

This ethos was exemplified through the use of stronger fabrics and fabrics, such as a denim set overlaid with a copper metallic print and a series of beige waffle knit pieces that can offer customers easy ways to create a polished look. The looks were a pleasing juxtaposition to the brand's signature embroidered and silk dresses, lending a touch of masculinity to the otherwise feminine collection.

On the more feminine side, the collection offered several silk dresses and ensembles, such as a green camouflage-print bodycon dress, a draped red halterneck dress, and a floral-print jacket. The rich colors and prints gave the simple silhouettes an elegant feel that suits the brand's target luxury customer.

The collection also reintroduced a low-waisted skirt, which was part of Tcherassi's original designs when she launched the brand more than three decades ago. The style was modern and was a new addition to a line of tried and true feminine silhouettes.

Overall, Silvia Tcherassi's fall 2024 collection showcased the designer's strength in understanding her client and updating her silhouettes and core design motifs.
