The Shanghai NECC will organize the exhibition of intertextiles, Chic and Yarn from September 2 to 4, gathering more than 5,000 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from global textile markets and clothing.
Intertextile
The intertextile is expected to welcome around 4,000 exhibitors from all over China, Asia and beyond, through its European Salon space. The event, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, attracted 95,000 visitors from 131 countries during its March 2025 edition.
For the autumn session of 2025, the intertextile will be carried out once again together with the exhibition of yarns, which has confirmed the participation of 500 spinning and fiber exhibitors.
Chic Shanghai
Chic, the leading Chinese clothing fair, has announced 800 exhibitors for this spring-summer edition 2026. The organizers await around 60,000 visitors, with a dedicated pH value section centered on knit garments. The previous edition of March of Chic attracted 165,000 visitors, 55% of which were attendees for the first time.
Together, these shows position themselves as the largest combined clothing and clothing event in China. This year's edition will take place in a particularly loaded context: continuous tariff disputes between Beijing and Washington have interrupted commercial flows and have created uncertainty for manufacturers on both sides.

Commercial tensions remodel exports
Initially, China threatened tariffs up to 145% in American goods, which led Donald Trump to reduce their proposed tariff on Chinese textiles from 125% to 30%. In return, Beijing promised to limit his tax to US products to 10%.
Despite tensions, Chinese textiles and clothing exports remain resistant. The first quarter data show that the decrease in US orders have already done so compensated status by Stronger demand for other marketsparticularly the European Union, Japan and South Korea.
