RH has reinvented himself, again, this time in the fields-Elysées, since the home furniture specialist opens Rh Paris on the most famous avenue in Europe.

Lo Great and The Good resulted for the inauguration on Friday night of RH Paris, the gallery in the fields, which had three high -end restaurants, a gammeas bar and an elegant hidden garden.

Originally launched as restoration hardware in 1979 in California by Stephen Gordon, after finding difficulties in finding high quality accessories to restore its Victorian home, the firm was called RH in 2012. Before transforming into the leading line of high -end American home furniture, with galleries, visits and exhibition rooms.

In the process, the brand's guest house in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan has become a key destination during New York Fashion Week for brands. Wait for something similar in the French fashion capital with RH Paris, given its wonderful location: 23 Avenue des Champs-Elysées, around the corner of the Luxury Luxury Way of Luxury Avenue Montaigne.

Previously the location of a huge badge of Abercrombie & Fitch, the space had been empty for half a decade, until RH reinvented it as an immersive retail experience and a high -end hospitality center.

A dozen violinists dressed as Greek goddesses calm to the guests, who included Zoe Saldaña, Catherine Deneuve, Theo James, Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi, all received by RH President Gary Friedman.

The editors, influencers and designers enjoyed Sushi and Patios de Cyril Lignac, Caviar de Petrossian, cocktails of the legendary waiter Colin Field and Vesper Martinis of Alessandro Palazzi by Duke's Bar London. DJ Milana acted as almost 1,000 guests swarmed around seven floors.

Where once the buyers crowded to find old door posts and doors handles in the restoration hardware, RH Paris presents a library of architecture and design, with rare books of the fundamental teachers, including Vitruvio, Da Vinci, Palladio, of L'Orme, Blondel and Haussmann.

At the command of the center of the Bibliotheca, there is one of the first modern impressions, around 1521, of “Architectura”, also known as “the ten books about architecture”, by the first century BC architect, Marcus Vitruvius. The center of the atrium also has a molten bronze cariatid, around 1870, attributed to the French sculptor Louis-Félix Chabaud, famous for his sculptures in the Louvre and the Palais Garnier opera.

However, the key to space is good meal: a menu of American and Mediterranean classics under a spectacular glass and steel curve structure in the Rh Garden.

There is also a thinner dinner in Le Petit RH, a jeweler whose roof has more than 7,000 glass polyhedrons individually, or a first -level view from a garden with views of the Eiffel Tower and Grand Palais.

One could simply enjoy a drink at the Clubby World of Rh Bar & Lounge, whose beverage menu is cured by the famous waiter Colin Field.

Will French consumers fall in love with brick and steel thrust, club chair and dark oil paintings from RH Paris? That remains to be seen. But one cannot blame RH and CEO Friedman by Chutzpah and self -confidence, helped by a substantial turnover of $ 3.18 billion in 2024.
