For spring, Paloma Lanna presented a collection that balances elegant pieces with urban clothing. Voluminous balloon skirts were influenced by the 17th-century painting “Las Meninas” by Diego Velázquez and offset barely-sheer pieces, like a gold bandeau top or a tight brown knit dress that exposed everything underneath.
Paloma Wool celebrates its tenth anniversary and with it comes the reinterpretation of some of the key pieces of the Spanish brand, such as the Archive pants, fitted pants with an overlapping miniskirt.
There was poetry in this collection, full of muted, earthy tones, draping and asymmetry.
