According to a schedule published today, Oslo Runway will run from August 25 to 30, 2025, and will include emerging and established name shows, presented throughout the Norwegian capital.

Orw25 will begin with an opening ceremony in the Oslofjord in collaboration with the Josephine Studio jewelry brand, before immersing yourself in the growing interest in the heritage of Norwegian fabric with Dale of Norway.

Oslo Runway continues its interdisciplinary collaboration with Munch, the new Key art museum in the city, opened in 2021, with the best collection of works from the world of the modernist painter Edvard Munch. This year's commissioner work is the show “Solen” by Pearl Octopuss.y. The program will have a pre-pre-open to the public, and the main premiere is only by invitation.

Oslo Runway will also celebrate a 10 -year triple anniversary along with Promenade, the key purchase route, and a Norwegian fashion center with an anniversary dinner at the Munch Museum.

“It feels incredible to celebrate 10 years with almost 60 designers, artists and Norwegian brands in the official program! I am very proud of what we achieve together, both at home and abroad, and how the event now contributes to raising fashion as a creative industry and a cultural field,” said the CEO of the Oslo track, Elin O. Carlsen.

With capital as a backdrop, there is an alignment with great names and emerging talents. The brands that return this season include Avelope1976, Livid, Pearl Octopuss.y, Woodling, Pia Tjelta, Christian Aks, Kari Traa, F5 Collections, ESP and Julie Josephine.

“It is energizing to see some of the most exciting brands in Norway return to the program. We are also very curious to see what newcomers like Blæst, Sixthgear, Camilla Pihl, she & Il and Hartlino will bring to their debut on the track of Oslo,” Carlsen added.

There will also be a new Steen & Strøm talent award, the sponsorship of Norway departments, during orw25. A professional jury will nominate a graduate student of each of the design schools: Esmod, Oslo National Academy of the Arts (Khio) and Oslomet. The three will be exhibited in Steen & Strøm, where they will be presented both to the press and the public.

In collaboration with Steen & Strøm, a special emerging window will highlight the crafts of Norwegian designers. A unique opportunity to explore brands such as ESP, Tarinii, Textile, Gobmi and Cala Jade and discover their creativity, design and unique use of materials.

In other places, the store and Concept Sorgenfri gallery will invite independent Norwegian designers to exhibit their best pieces in a group Sorgenfri Artwear exhibition, where designers will be invited to answer creatively to the question: “What is the fashion of the future?”
