Metallic and bright sequins have often seen in the red carpets this season of awards as structural pieces, says Mandelkorn, who will dress customers, including “The wonderful Mrs. Maisel”, the star Rachel Brosnahan and the actress “Wicked” Marissa Bode for the Oscar Fiestas this weekend.

“The trend that I have been seeing that it is a bit different from only colors or textures is these really sculptural dresses,” he said.

“As a type of really interesting sculptural scrillos and only the things that feel a little more avant -garde than your normal dress.”

The Oscar nominated Cynthia Erivo and Zoe Saldana, as well as the actress of “The piano lesson”, Danielle Deadwyler, have used such dresses, while Selena Gomez and Demi Moore, who hope to win the Oscar for Best Actress, have seen themselves in sparkling dresses.

All eyes will be on Sunday at the Oscars, the largest red carpet in Hollywood and perhaps the most formal.

“The old Hollywood glamor is really what I think when I think of Oscar's dressing, like the skirts of dance dresses. There is a simplicity, but also with glamor, hair, makeup only feels timeless,” Mandelkorn said.

“Zendaya wore that beautiful orange satén dress Louis Vuitton (in the Golden Globes) that was like a timeless silhouette and with hair and makeup, the awards season simply felt very felt.”

For men, Esquire UK's style director Johnny Davis, highlighted the Oscar Colman Domingo and Adrien Brody contestants for their distinctive outfits this awards season.

“Adrien Brody … Use the same, which is a classic black tuxedo … looks good, immaculately designed,” he said.
Sunday “looks great, something very extravagant,” he added.

He said that the stylistic elections taken by celebrities nodded with the old and new Hollywood styles, while the brooches in the flaps and necklaces were among the outstanding accessories.

For Sunday, Davis said he was waiting for classic looks.

“Due to the terrible fires there recently, I think that potentially using something that is a bit shout and noisy, it may not be the way to follow and go a bit classic for me would be what to expect,” he said.
