The Milan calendar, which extends from September 23 to 29, is full of impulse: 12 new names join the schedule, balance 11 absences and inject new energy in the week. Milan will organize 55 physical parades this season, slightly more than February 54, including two Emporio Armani. The week is wrapped on Monday, September 29, with four digital exhibitions with Maxivive and three newcomers: Mein Corp of the Italian designer Lorenzo Sala, the Ukrainian label Nadya Dyzak (thrown in 2008) and Zenam of the Cameroon designer Paul Tanonkou, previously appeared in the male clothing calendar.

Gucci will open Milan Fashion Week on Tuesday, September 23, with Demon revealing his first collection for the house. Fendi will continue its Centennes celebrations the same day with a mixed gender show curated by Silvia Venturini Fendi. Giorgio Armani will begin to mark his anniversary at the beginning of the week, on September 24, with the opening of an important retrospect in the Di Brera Pinacoteca, with 150 file looks. Then he will close Fashion Week on Sunday, September 28, with a celebration show in the Patio de Honor in Palazzo Brera.

Versace will move away from the track this season, since he suffers a transition under the new creative director Dario Vitale. The English designer Charlotte Knowles and her Canadian partner Alexandre Arsenault founded the label in 2017. Released in 2017 by the Italian fashion chamber, the awards have become a reference point in sustainable innovation.

This summer edition will also see that several brands will move away from the schedule. In addition to Versace, both Marni and Bally will remain absent as they undergo creative transitions. Fiorucci will now appear on the calendar of the male fashion week, after having changed his performance to June. Other brands that are missing in provisional alignment include Avavav, which had been shown in Milan since September 2023; Susan Fang, who presented Dolce & Gabbana last March; and Philipp Plein, K-Way and Dsquared2.

Despite these absences, Milan's Fashion Week will continue to show Made in Italy's strength. Power labels such as Prada, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro and Max Mara will lead a calendar that remains among the most influential in global fashion.
