Max Mara is once again bringing its next collection of travel cruises, this time to the legendary Bay of Naples.
“The Max Mara Resort 2026 experience, including the runway show, will take place in Naples, Italy, on Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17, 2025,” the Italian fashion giant revealed on Tuesday.
Max Mara did not reveal the exact location of the show, or what else he meant by “experience.”
The show will mark the second time Max Mara has brought its resort collection to the region. In June 2021, the house hosted a gala show at the Mezzatore Hotel and Spa on the island of Ischia, at the northern end of the Bay of Naples. Inspired by Truman Capote's spring stay in Ischia in the 1950s, it presented an ode to the writer's legendary swans with a collection of patrician elegance.
Under the direction of its British-born creative director, Ian Griffiths, Max Mara has specialized in organizing highly sophisticated shows and collections within prestigious art foundations.
In a true world tour, Max Mara's previous exhibitions have been presented at the Neues Museum in Berlin, the Whitney Museum in New York and the Gulbenkian Institute in Lisbon. Additionally, the brand has held spectacular shows in Tokyo, Shanghai and, most recently, in May of this year, at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice.
