Mango plans more than 20 store openings in the United Kingdom by 2024

Mango, one of the leading fashion groups in Europe, continues its expansion and brand consolidation plan in the United Kingdom with more than 20 store openings planned for 2024. The growth is focused on expanding its presence in London and Scotland, as well as arrival for the first time in several cities in Northern Ireland and central and southern England.

The company plans to open four stores in London this year, in addition to the opening last February of a store in the Windsor Yards shopping center in the historic heart of Windsor, near Windsor Castle.

The new Mango store will incorporate the New Med Mediterranean-inspired store concept, reflecting the spirit and freshness of the brand. Sustainability and architectural integration are the keys to this new design that conceives the Mango store as a Mediterranean home with different spaces in which warm tones and neutral colors predominate, combined with traditional, artisanal, sustainable and natural materials such as ceramics. , tuff, wood, marble, esparto grass and leather.

Mango has been present in the United Kingdom since 1999. In 2021, the company reinforced its presence in the country with the opening of a new flagship store on Oxford Street in London and three other stores in Manchester, Edinburgh and Derby.

In 2022, Mango reinforces its presence in the north with a store in Glasgow Fort, the city's main shopping and leisure centre. It also opened in Dartford's Bluewater shopping centre, the fifth largest in the country, as well as London's Battersea Power Station. At the end of the year, the company opened its first store in Newcastle, located in the Eldon Square shopping centre, one of the most visited in the country.

Mango opened more than 10 stores last year, mainly in the south and center of the country, in large cities such as Bristol, London, Manchester and Leeds. Among them, one of the most important was the opening of a store in Westfield Stratford City, one of the largest shopping centers in the United Kingdom. Additionally, the company first arrived in Brighton with a 5,000 sq ft store in the Churchill Square shopping centre.

At the end of the 2023 financial year, Mango had 60 stores in the country, including company stores, franchises and corners in department stores, in addition to a digital presence through its online channel and other Marketplaces.
