LVMH Métiers d'Art has increased its stake in Riba Guixà, a long-established Catalan tannery specializing in Spanish Enterfino lambskin, from 20% to 80%.

Riba Guixà was founded in 1932 by Joan Riba Guixà in Caldes De Montbui, near Barcelona. Joan Riba Guixà, heir to a family with a long tradition in tanning, established operating conditions of the highest level that allowed the company to consolidate itself as a benchmark in the production of lambskins, especially Enterfino lamb and Plongé leather. The company is currently run by the fourth generation of the Riba family.
