With a staggering 134.4 million searches and an impressive number of social media followers, including 4.8 million on Instagram, 955,700 on X, and 885,700 on TikTok, Lululemon has a perfect score in Genting Casino's evaluation.
It is closely followed by Alo Yoga. With 7.7 million annual searches and 3.3 million Instagram followers, Alo Yoga has carved out a significant niche, although it is slightly behind Lululemon in social media presence.
Vuori is emerging as a key player in the sportswear space. With 8.55 million annual searches and a strong following on social media platforms, Vuori ranks third on the list of most popular luxury sports brands.
Looking at the growth trajectories of major sports brands over the past five years, Lululemon also stands out with a 301% increase in market capitalization, reflecting its successful expansion efforts and strategic focus on quality and community building.
Nike, another powerhouse in the sports apparel sector, has seen a 41% increase in its market capitalization, underscoring its resilience and innovation-driven approach to achieving market leadership.
Puma, although experiencing a more modest 16% increase in its market capitalization, has maintained its relevance through strategic collaborations and a consistent market presence.
In contrast, Adidas witnessed a 13% decline in its market capitalization, grappling with challenges such as changes in consumer preferences and the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
