Louis Vuitton has named Timothée Adolphe, a visually impaired French super sprinter, as an ambassador for the partnership between LVMH and Paris 2024, this summer's Olympic and Paralympic Games in the capital.
Timothée Adolphe is a versatile non-sprint athlete, specialized in 60 and 400 m races, whose nickname is the White Leopard.
He is also a hip-hop musician famous for his French rap hits such as Olympia; and activist for greater access to people with special needs and disabilities.
“Thanks to his determination and talent, he has risen to the highest level in the sport,” Vuitton said in a statement.
Adolphe won a silver medal in the 100 meters at the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics. He was also the 400 meters world champion and 100 meters world runner-up in 2019. And he currently holds the European 200 meters record.
“As the new Louis Vuitton ambassador, Timothée Adolphe will bring his communicative energy and triumphant spirit to this collaboration. “His achievements perfectly demonstrate the values of excellence and audacity that are so important to the House,” Vuitton added.

LVMH is a major partner and sponsor of the Paris Olympic Games, scheduled for July 26 to August 11 this summer, and the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8, with a corporate commitment believed to be around the 150 million euros. Adolphe is the seventh athlete to join the LVMH family, alongside swimmer Léon Marchand, five-time world champion and record holder in the 400-meter individual medley; Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos, four-time European artistic gymnastics champion; fencer Enzo Lefort, gold medalist in men's team foil fencing at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and men's individual foil world champion in 2019 and 2022; Pauline Déroulède, triple French champion in wheelchair tennis, and double Paralympic medalist in paracycling Marie Patouillet.
