Lilia Litkovska's collection was a metaphor for strength in adversity. A recent trip to the Himalayas made the Ukrainian designer think about the notion of peace between people and nature and gave her confidence, she explained. The references made sense in the clean lines of her contemporary designs and her elegant yet uncompromising silhouettes. Litkovska's wardrobe plays with subtle twists on masculine tailoring for the feminine form. “The shapes of men on women's shoulders beautify feminine nature,” she summarized. In reference to the struggles faced by her compatriots (and her employees) in Ukraine, it was an appropriate message. 'Women are beginning to be more powerful, more confident and stronger in our ideas. That changes the focus,” she Litkovska stated. “It's not just me; “The team has changed, our values are stronger.” Her elegant coats and wool suits were off-balance, with scarf-like panels in the front, buttoned at an angle. Among her highlights was a textured jacket made from scraps of her own production. Her tailored trousers had asymmetrical closures and the jackets cut in half with a zipper were uncompromising in their clean lines.
