The first collection of Lantink Ready-to-Wear (RTW) will be shown in Paris in September and its discharge debut will continue in January 2026, the brand announced on social networks.
Dutch designer Duran Lantink has been appointed permanent creative director of the French luxury label Jean Paul Gaultier. His first collection ready to use will debut in Paris this September, followed by his discharge debut in January 2026. Expressing gratitude, Lantink called Gaultier a genius that raided the way for creatives like him and described the appointment as a true honor.
“I am grateful, proud and incredibly fortunate to trust the role of permanent creative director in Jean Paul Gaultier. Thanks to all those who believed in my team and I from the beginning. His support has meant everything. A special thanks to the JPG family for giving me this great opportunity. I am excited and ready to start this new chapter,” Lantink said in an Instagram post.
“I consider that Jean Paul Gaultier is a genius and part of a generation that knocked down doors, so that people like us can walk for them freely and be who we are unattill. Passing the role of creative director is a real honor,” added Lantink.
