Istituto Marangoni Miami (IMM) will present its annual fashion parade, Voare, on May 15 at the iconic Palm Court of the Miami Design District.
Now in its second year, the event will show the final collections of IMM fashion design students and will debut the new scholarship fund of the IMM X Miami Design District.
“This show is not just about the designs that our students create, but also to celebrate unlimited creativity and ambition that contribute to the industry,” said Hakan Baykam, president of Istituto Marangoni Miami.
“Voare is a celebration of the future, where innovation, crafts and inspiration take the flight on the track, which marks an unforgettable night on the Miami fashion calendar.”
As part of the outstanding event, the Karolin Supermodel Kurková, a member of the IMM Advisory Board and defender of the school for a long time, will enter the program. Similarly, the experience will rise for a special live performance of the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
All tickets will go directly to the new scholarship fund, which will cover the full registration for a degree in Fine Arts in IMM Fashion Design, awarded to a Graduate of Design and Architecture Senior High (Dash). The scholarship application will open after the fashion parade and will be available through the IMM website.
“Supporting this scholarship together with Istituto Marangoni Miami is an investment in the future of fashion, creativity and cultural fabric of our city,” added Craig Robins, CEO and president of Dacra, a partner of the Miami Design district.
“The Miami Design District has always been a place where culture, innovation and talent bind, and supporting the next generation of designers through education is a natural extension of that vision.”
