Indian company Arvind Fashions revenue rises 5% in FY24

India's Arvind Fashions Limited, a leading lifestyle company that houses renowned brands like US Polo, reported revenue of Rs 42.59 billion (approximately $511.3 million) in fiscal year 2024 (FY24), an increase of 5 per cent over FY23. EBITDA also saw a significant increase, reaching Rs 5,440 crore, up 15 per cent year-on-year. Profit before tax (PBT) stood at Rs 1.7 billion, an increase of 14 per cent. However, profit after tax (PAT) declined 5 per cent to Rs 560 crore.

In Q4 FY2024 (Q4 FY24), Arvind Fashions Limited achieved several milestones. Revenue grew 4 per cent to ₹10.94 billion, compared to ₹10.55 billion in Q4FY23, with a two-year revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15 percent. This growth was supported by a healthy 4 percent increase on a like-for-like (LTL) basis. EBITDA for the quarter grew 17 per cent to Rs 1.48 billion, up from Rs 1.27 billion in Q4FY23. EBITDA margin improved 150 basis points (bps) to 13 .5 percent, despite a year-on-year (YoY) increase in ad spend of approximately 100 bps, the company said in a press release.

Arvind Fashions Limited reported FY24 revenue of Rs 42.59 billion (~$511.3 million), up 5 percent from FY23. The company's EBITDA increased 15 percent to 5.44 billion rupees. PBT rose 14 per cent to Rs 1,700 crore, but PAT fell 5 per cent to Rs 560 crore. In Q4FY24, revenue grew 4 percent to Rs 10.94 billion. EBITDA increased 17 percent to Rs 1,480 crore.

Profit after tax (PAT) from continuing businesses stood at Rs 250 crore in Q4FY24, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 72 per cent. Reported PAT increased 123 per cent to ₹240 million, compared to ₹110 million in Q4FY23.

“FY24 has been a differentiated year with sharper execution leading to improvement in all key financial metrics, even though the market environment remains subdued. “Our continued focus on retail excellence resulted in healthy 4 percent LTL growth, leading to a 120 basis point improvement in full-year EBITDA margin,” he said.
