H&M has announced its latest designer collaboration with Rabanne. A pioneer in the French fashion scene thanks to the 1960s creations of its late founder Paco Rabanne, since 2013 the house has been revitalized by creative director Julien Dossena. The collection will launch in select stores and online from November 9, 2023.
In keeping with the collection’s festive aesthetic, the collaboration with Rabanne H&M is now announced with a glamorous event in Paris at the Silencio nightclub. Guests including Jared Leto, Damson Idris, Irina Shayk and Elle Fanning will give an exclusive preview of the collection ahead of its launch, the company said in a press release.
H&M is collaborating with fashion house Rabanne for a collection launching on November 9, 2023. This collection, led by creative director Julien Dossena, is inspired by Rabanne’s iconic metallic dresses. To celebrate the partnership, a glamorous event was held in Paris, with notable guests including Jared Leto and Irina Shayk.
“Rabanne metallic dresses are instantly recognizable pieces of fashion history. “We are delighted to offer a stunning range of Rabanne designs to our customers with this sensational collaboration,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of womenswear design and creative advisor at H&M.
“As a designer, I have always been interested in exploring hedonism and empowerment. “I was very excited to work with H&M on a collection that will introduce Rabanne’s avant-garde energy to a wider audience in a democratic way,” he said. Julien Dossena, creative director of Rabanne.
“Rabanne has always been a joyful brand and this event captured the fun vibe of the Rabanne H&M collection. “I always want people to feel liberated when they wear our clothes, so it was great to see guests having fun and embracing the hedonistic spirit of the collection,” Dossena added.
The Rabanne H&M collection includes women’s clothing, men’s clothing, shoes and accessories, as well as an H&M home decor capsule collection that complements the fashion collection.
