French luxury brand Hermès will host the 14th edition of Saut Hermès, the brand's annual show jumping competition that has graced the Grand Palais since 2010.
Scheduled to run from March 16 to 18, 2024, Hermès will bring together more than 75 riders from 20 different countries and more than 130 horses at the Grand Palais Éphémère. The competition itself will feature 55 riders competing in the prestigious CSI 5 category, a top-level classification recognized by both the French Equestrian Federation (FFE) and the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
In addition, 20 promising young people will show their skills at the Talents Hermès events dedicated to the group of those under 25 years of age, navigating courses designed by Santiago Varela Ullastres.
Beyond the competition, the public is invited to discover demonstrations of the house's saddlery knowledge, explore an equestrian bookstore and participate in family activities focused on the world of horses.
The experience will extend to the Campo de Marte, where the youngest will be able to ride a pony and participate in grooming activities. The house has also collaborated with the company 'I Could Never Be A Dancer' to present an original equestrian show.
Hermès, recognized for its excellence in saddle craftsmanship, is proud to unite members of the equestrian community, honoring its legacy as its first customer: the horse.
As the new year progresses, global attention on equestrian excellence is expected to intensify, with the Olympic Games looming and a celebration of equestrian prowess. Notably, the equestrian events at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to take place from July 27 to August 6 at the Palace of Versailles, and are expected to feature 200 riders in three disciplines.
