“I am delighted to return to New York to celebrate this important project. My time in this city has always been significant and has marked key moments in my career,” highlighted the designer.

Following One Night Only in 2013, Giorgio Armani will return to Manhattan with an event to celebrate the opening of the new building on Madison Avenue, completely redesigned to include residential units, Armani/Ristorante and the new Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa boutiques, the El Italian designer revealed on Friday.

“The opening of Madison Avenue is an important personal milestone because it crystallizes my vision of style in the city that was perhaps the first to truly embrace it,” Giorgio added.

Last September, Armani hosted a historic One Night Only show and party in Venice that attracted dozens of stars despite taking place during the strike in Hollywood.

Sophia Loren, Jessica Chastain, Benicio Del Toro, Bridgerton star and Armani beauty ambassador Regé-Jean Page, Oscar-winning director Martin McDonagh and singer Jack Savoretti showed up to witness an Armani Privé couture collection presented inside a giant red brick. warehouse in the Arsenale, which was once used to build the wooden warships of the famous Venetian fleet.

The house called the upcoming One Night Only in uptown New York “an important project that confirms the designer's close connection to the city.” The event, which will take place on Thursday, October 17, will consist of a fashion show followed by an after-party.

A unique concept One Night Only started by Armani combines music, good food and shows with multiple collections. Various editions of One Night Only have been held in cities as diverse as London, Paris and Tokyo.
