German brand Hugo Boss appoints James Foster to lead global marketing

James Foster has been appointed senior vice president of global marketing at HUGO BOSS. He will officially join the company in January 2025 and will replace Nadia Kokni. Nadia Kokni, who joined HUGO BOSS in January 2023, left the company in December to pursue new business opportunities.

James Foster spent over 13 years at Adidas in various global marketing and general management roles, following which time he was Global Marketing Director and Chief Marketing Officer of IKEA Retail. Most recently, he was Head of Marketing for the EMEA region at Netflix, leading his team from Amsterdam.

James Foster is Hugo Boss' new senior vice president of global marketing, effective January 2025, succeeding Nadia Kokni, who left in December 2024. Foster brings experience from Adidas, IKEA and Netflix. CEO Daniel Grieder thanked Kokni for his contributions and expressed confidence in Foster's ability to enhance the brand's customer-centric approach and strengthen its success.
