French luxury giant LVMH names Alessandro Valenti as new CEO of Givenchy

French luxury conglomerate LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has announced the appointment of Alessandro Valenti as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Givenchy, effective immediately. LVMH announced this news yesterday in a post on X. Valenti, who was most recently president of Louis Vuitton for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), succeeds Renaud De Lesquen, who served as CEO since 2020.

Valenti brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously worked at Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren before joining LVMH in 2014 as general manager of Louis Vuitton France and Monaco.

LVMH has appointed Alessandro Valenti as the new CEO of Givenchy. Valenti, who was previously President of Louis Vuitton in EMEA, succeeds Renaud De Lesquen, who served as CEO since 2020. Valenti’s extensive experience includes roles at Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren before joining LVMH in 2014 as Managing Director of Louis Vuitton France and Monaco.

“Alessandro has 25 years of international experience. His extensive knowledge of the luxury industry, including more than ten years at Louis Vuitton, together with his retail experience and management skills, will be key assets in leading Givenchy to new heights.” said Givenchy Chairman of the Board of Directors Sidney Toledano.
