Fashion Exhibition Queen Elizabeth will open in London next year


The clothes used by the late Queen Elizabeth will be exhibited in a great exhibition at Buckingham Palace in London next year, announced the Royal Collection Trust.

The official residence of the monarch will organize the show with around 200 articles that cover several decades of his life from childhood onwards. It is said to be the biggest exhibition of your clothes.

The pieces in the show will include their intricate wedding dress Norman Hartnell, made in 1947 by Norman Hartnell and its coronation dress, both with very symbolic embroidery. Another wedding piece, a silver dress of Lamé and Tulle of the Lady of Honor that he had in 1934 before it was known that one day he would become queen, he will also be one of the exhibitions.

The curator of the exhibition, Caroline de Guitaut, talked about how exhibitions will illustrate “the soft power behind her clothes, to the exceptional craft behind each garment.” That soft power included a green and white dress in the national colors of Pakistan made for a state visit of 1961 there.
