Dubai Fashion Week to feature over 30 international brands

Leading up to New York Fashion Week and setting the tone for the global fashion calendar, Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) Spring/Summer (SS) 2025 will take place from 1-7 September 2024 in the Dubai Design District (d3), with an expanded calendar of events across the city.

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), a global creative ecosystem of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council, Dubai Fashion Week represents the highest levels of excellence, foresight and diversity. More than 30 brands from France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Palestine, Russia, the UAE and the UK will showcase streetwear and haute couture collections alongside internationally renowned guest designers. The event’s presence also extends across the city, with 40 exclusive presentations, private dinners and collection launches hosted by global brands and industry stakeholders.

Taking place from 1-7 September 2024 in Dubai’s Design District (d3), Dubai Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025 will feature haute couture and ready-to-wear collections from over 30 international brands. The event includes presentations and launches across the city, aiming to foster global connections through its inaugural International Buyer Programme.

The first three days of Dubai Fashion Week SS25 will focus on haute couture collections, featuring a variety of couture and personal shopping experiences created in collaboration with distinguished retailers. The final three days will highlight ready-to-wear collections by acclaimed designers including Alia Bastamam, April & Alex, Benang Jarum, BLSSD, Dima Ayad, Lama Jouni, Mrs. Keepa, Born in Exile, Buttonscarves, Choice, Heaven Lights, Riva, Viva Vox and Weinsanto, presented and supported by the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the governing body of Paris Fashion Week. The final day of the calendar will focus on private appointments and a buyer’s market, the organiser said in a press release.

Alongside the high-profile shows and events, the International Buyer Program is being launched for the first time, allowing retailers from around the world to enroll in DFW’s tiered benefits. The program facilitates the expansion of buyer reach and talent discovery across DFW and within Dubai’s vibrant fashion ecosystem, reinforcing the city as the region’s de facto fashion capital.
