The costumes that the Parisian label has given to 'Cinecittà si Mostra' are among the first used in a film co-produced by Saint Laurent Productions.
Among them stands out the silver embroidered silk georgette dress she wore Partenope the protagonist Celeste Dalla Porta, the black satin evening dress with a pronounced V-neckline and side slit that Dalla Porta also wore, combined with a brown ribbed faux fur mink coat, and the unforgettable ensemble inspired by the divas of the 20th century. of Hollywood Gold that Luisa wore. Ranieri as Greta Cool, composed of a gold lamé knit cape and a dress with a sweetheart neckline made of the same material.
Alongside these iconic outfits, deliberately inspired by historical YSL looks, the exhibition showcases the sensational jewel dress worn by Dalla Porta in the scene in which Peppe Lanzetta plays the bishop: a miter, necklace and gem-encrusted belt designed by Poggioli and inspired by the Religious relics of the treasure of San Gennaro, handmade by Pikkio, a jewelry producer specialized in the film and theater industry.
Men's fashion is also featured, with the timeless white linen suit worn by Gary Oldman, star of Partenope like the writer John Cheever. The suit is made by Cesare Attolini, a leading tailor in the best Neapolitan sartorial tradition, renowned since the 1930s and with silver screen icons such as Totò, Marcello Mastroianni, Vittorio De Sica and Clarke Gable among his clients.
