Converse Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge Sneakers Review
The Converse De Luxe Wedge sneakers from Revolve are very different from my usual style. They're more grungy and casual, but since wedge boots and wedge sneakers are making a comeback this year, this is a great way to combine both trends.
Revolve's Converse De Luxe Wedge Sneakers are a cross between the Converse x Martine Ali Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedges and the Converse 70 De Luxe Heels, but with a few differences. The Converse x Martine Ali Chuck 70 De Luxe is leather versus canvas and only comes in monochromatic black, not white like the new De Luxe wedge. It also has a removable gaiter which these do not have.
In comparison, the Converse 70 De Luxe heels also look similar, as they come in canvas and black and white, but they are a heel and not a wedge.
The Converse Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge Sneakers are unmistakably a Chuck Taylor design, but with a new twist for 2024 with the on-trend lugged wedge sole.
What you may not be able to see in the photos are some of the more intricate details including:

How does sizing work? Big, small or true to size
Converse says the Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel and Ct70 De Luxe Wedge run large and should be ordered a half size smaller. I recommend doing the same with the Converse De Luxe Wedge sneakers.
Since I have the Converse De Luxe Wedge high top sneakers in size 6.5 US. US / 4.5 UK or 37 European. Which is my normal European size, but I'm normally a US size 6.5-7 and a UK size 4. The shoe conversion charts look a bit similar to me as I'm a US size 7 and a UK size 4, but the women's shoe size conversion charts show a US size 7 to be a UK 5, which would be like ships to me. So I think they run a little big on me based on US and European sizes as the 6.5 is a little big, but it's fine with thicker socks.
However, if I was ordering my usual UK size, I would have ordered a UK4/US size 6 (not the 4.5), which would probably have been perfect, but about a half to a full size smaller than my usual US size. USA

Are Converse De Luxe Wedge sneakers comfortable?
Wedges are not as comfortable as sneakers, but they are more comfortable than most of my heeled booties. Due to their weight, they are more of an urban style and fashionable shoe for every day. Although I would still feel comfortable walking all day in them.

When I first bought them I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to style them. Since I haven't worn anything like this in over a decade and the style was a little different back then! Don't wear them with skinny jeans unless you want to look like you just stepped out of the 2010s. They're designed to be fun and fabulous, but you need to be a little bold and less boring with your style to keep them stylish instead of looking outdated.
