Chanel has presented plans to organize Galerie du 19m in Tokyo this fall, promoting its unique variety of multiple “Métiers d'Art” to the general public. The brand has chosen a high space, at the top of an outstanding skyscraper of Tokyo, to show the inimitable skills of 19 million artisans.
Founded by Chanel in 2021 in Paris, 19M is a unique constellation of specialized experts and suppliers that gather almost 700 artisans and experts from fashion and decoration worlds.
The Galerie Du 19M is an open space dedicated to the transmission and promotion of Métiers d'Art through a multidisciplinary program that shows emerging creative scenes. Previously, the Galerie Du 19M moved for several weeks to a strong naval in Marseille when Chanel organized his collection of cruises in the Mediterranean city last year.
From September 30 to October 20, 2025, Galerie Du 19M will organize on the 52nd floor of the Mori tower. A giant skyscraper with almost 400,000 square meters of space on the floor, Mori Tower also houses a famous art museum, an apartment on the Chanel event.

“Visitors of all ages will marvel at the richness of Japanese and French inheritances and the modernity of their contemporary interpretations,” Chanel said in its launch.
In January 2022, French president Emmanuel Macron celebrated the opening of 19M, the Single Campus of Chanel Haute Couture and Fashion Skills in North Paris, praising as an expression of a cultural revolution in France. It is an impressive building that joins high -range embroidery skills (Lesage) and boots manufacturers (Massaro) to Milliners (Maison Michel), fold manufacturers (Lognon) and feathers suppliers (Lemarié) in a truly unique constellation of skills and knowledge.
“The Galerie du 19m Tokyo is a New Milestone in the History That Links Chanel and Japan, Founded On respect, Mutual Admiration and Shared Inspiration. While Japanese Aesthetics Have Permeated Many Collections Since The Days of Gabrielle Chanel, The House Has Also Tribute Tribute to Japan Through EVENTs, from its first fashion show in tokyo in 1978 to its first Métiers d'Ast exhibition abroad, at the ginza flake flake in 2004, ”said Chanel.
The Galerie du 19m Tokyo will offer a free, inspiring and playful tour, open to all, in three chapters: the festival, a monumental installation that shows the unique knowledge of the Maisons d'Art du 19m, designed by the Atta agency, headed by the famous architect Tsuyoshi Tane; and “Beyond Our Horizons”, an immersive exhibition with creations of almost 30 Japanese and French artists, many of them created in collaboration with the Maisons d'Art du 19m, curatored by five personalities of the creative world: Momoko Ando, Yoichi Nishio, Shinichiro Ogata, Kaya Tokuda and Aska Yamashita.

Finally, “Lesage, 100 years of fashion and decoration”, is a retrospective that celebrates the centenary of the House of Embroidery and Fabric, revealing its most impressive creations.
