Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards bring 12th annual gala to Montreal for the first time

The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) will bring its 12th annual gala to Montreal for the first time on April 23.

The move highlights Montreal's long-standing influence on Canadian fashion. Historically known as the center of the country's textile and clothing industry, the city remains a vibrant hub for manufacturers, textile innovators, design houses and both emerging and established brands.

According to CAFA president and co-founder Vicky Milner, bringing the gala to Montreal underscores the organization's focus on honoring regions across Canada where creativity and crafts continue to thrive. He noted that Montreal's deep industrial roots and design talent make it a natural home for the 2026 celebration.
