Each year a group of designers are identified for their creativity, strong design aesthetic and point of difference through industry-led panels chaired by Sarah Mower MBE, BFC ambassador for emerging talent. For 2024/25, the selected designers are Aaron Esh, Ancuta Sarca, Charlie Constantinou, Chet Lo, Derrick, DI Petsa, Harri, Johanna Parv, Karoline Vitto, Kazna Asker, Leo Carlton, Lueder, Masha Popova, Paolo Carzana, Pauline Dujancourt , Sinéad O'Dwyer, Steve O Smith, The Winter House, Tolu Coker and Yaku, the BFC said in a press release.

BFC Newgen, in collaboration with Pull&Bear, offers financial grants, mentoring and shows opportunities to emerging talents. Pull&Bear has recently become a main partner, offering direct financial support and a storytelling platform.
BFC Newgen offers financial grants to designers, showcases opportunities and offers one-on-one mentoring and training sessions to help them develop their business infrastructure and skills. Last month, BFC announced Pull&Bear as the new lead partner of BFC Newgen. The brand will provide direct financial support and mentorship, as well as providing a platform for storytelling, through its new experiential vertical 'Canvas for Creativity'.
Applications were open from January 15 to March 1, 2024. Categories included Ready to Wear (RTW) women's clothing, RTW men's clothing and accessories.
Since its launch in 1993, BFC NEWGEN has supported designers such as Alexander McQueen, Bianca Saunders, Christopher Kane, Duro Olowu, Grace Wales Bonner, Kim Jones, Jonathan Anderson, Richard Quinn and many more.
