Anthropologie on Monday announced an expanded association with Nest, a non -profit organization dedicated to empowering artisans and manufacturers, as part of the month of the history of women.
The improved collaboration will include a six -month scholarship program, which will provide five tutorials of key members of the Anthropologie team and the opportunity to sell their work without commissions through Anthropologie stores and the digital market from autumn.
To celebrate the launch of this expanded association and to honor the month of women's history, Anthropologie will also organize a series of special events. On March 6 in New York City, Anthropologie will celebrate a discussion in the panel of the month of the history of women with key executives of Anthropologie and Nest, along with artisans and local creators, to explore the impact of the creative entrepreneurship.
Similarly, on March 8, Anthropologie stores in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago will host artisans and nest manufacturers for exclusive community emerging markets, offering customers the opportunity to buy unique products while supporting local companies led by women.
Finally, as part of their continuous commitment to the empowerment of women, Anthropologie is also promising an annual corporate donation of $ 100,000 to support Nest's mission.
“We are honored to start the month of women's history by announcing the expansion of our association and companionship program with Nest,” said Kate Haldy, director of Public Relations, Communications and Impact on Anthropologie Group.
“In the last two years, we have deeply inspired by the incredible work that our friends in Nest are doing to raise and empower artists and creators throughout the country.
