2030 Olympic Games: Call proposals released for innovative textile solutions

While Chamonix, Grenoble and Albertville prepare to organize the winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2030, a call to expressions of interest to identify innovative textile solutions in France that could contribute to the project has been launched.

“The call to expressions of interest aims to show innovative textile solutions presented by the French interested parties, aligned with the needs of the games,” said the notice, giving companies until October 10 to respond.

In particular, companies that offer recycling processes that allow circularity in textile use, as well as manufacturers of textile and compound materials, are invited to apply. Organizations are also encouraged that offer processes and services of low environmental impact, and “intelligent products” that incorporate textiles, also encourages themselves.

“The projects that apply must be at a very high level of maturity,” said the call, while inviting less established organizations to present if they can demonstrate their progress during the games.
