WNBA star A'ja Wilson slams Aces teammates for photo shoot with Usher after disappointing loss

On Tuesday, the Chicago Sky visited the defending WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces. The Sky finally earned their tenth win of the season by defeating the Aces.

Shortly after the final buzzer sounded, some of the Aces players headed to the courtside seats, where music star Usher watched the game, much to the chagrin of A'ja Wilson.

The two-time league MVP was quick to criticize her teammates for seeking a photo with the R&B sensation, considering they had just suffered a disappointing loss.

“They ain't done nothing all day, but they wanna take a fucking picture with Usher,” Wilson's voice was picked up by an open microphone as one of her Aces teammates stood nearby.

Although some believed Wilson's comments were meant in jest, she did not miss the opportunity to pose for a photo with Usher.

Usher handed the Super Bowl halftime performer one of his Aces jerseys. Usher hugged the WNBA scoring leader and, after a brief chat, they posed for a photo together.

Wilson finished the game with a double-double, scoring 28 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Jackie Young was the only other Aces player to finish the game in double-digit points.

The loss dropped the Aces' overall record to 16-8. The team will not play together again until Aug. 17 because four players from the Aces roster will travel to Paris and represent the U.S. at the Summer Olympics.
