The WNBA on Wednesday reportedly overturned Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese's second technical foul, leading to her being ejected from Tuesday's game against the New York Liberty.
The Chicago Tribune was the first to report the WNBA's decision. The league later confirmed it to Fox News Digital.
The second technique came with less than 3 minutes left in the game against Liberty.

In 24 minutes, Reese scored 13 points on 3-of-12 shooting from the field. He added 10 rebounds, an assist and his first career block.
Reese's ejection left the rest of her teammates and head coach Teresa Weatherspoon confused.
“I tried to get an explanation. I didn't,” Weatherspoon told reporters via ESPN. “I don't know until now what happened.”

Maj Forsberg, the head referee, told reporters after the game that Reese received technical fouls for “disrespectfully addressing” the referee and then for “waving his hand in dismissal.”
“He got two technicians and said something to the referee,” added Sky star Marina Mabrey. “What he felt was the right decision is what he did. It's more about composure for us in our younger years in the WNBA. You have to know the referees and how they respond to things.”
According to WNBA regulations, a player who commits seven technical fouls during the season will be suspended for one game. Each subsequent technical foul after seven will result in a suspension.
