Federal Way, Washington. – Defender champion Virginia won the first relay event in the Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday night to begin his search for a fifth consecutive title of the NCAA.
Claire Curzan, Alex Walsh, Gretchen Walsh and Maxine Parker of Virginia opened the meeting capturing the combined relay of 200 yards with a new record time by NCAA, American and American of 1 minute, 31.10 seconds, breaking the record of the cavaliers of a 1: 31.51 established in the 2023 championships. There are four swimming finals and a diving final on Thursday in the center of Aquatics of Weyerhaeuser King County.
