Vinícius Júnior was excited about the potential return of Brazil of Neymar


Vinícius Júnior has said that he is excited about the possibility of Neymar returning to the Brazilian team for his next World Cup classifying against Colombia and Argentina.

Brazil will appoint your team on Thursday, and Neymar is expected to be included.

The 33 -year -old has not played for Brazil since the country's World Cup qualifier against Uruguay in October 2023 when he picked up a serious knee injury that kept him out of play for a year.

“The expectation is great because he is the idol of our generation,” Vinícius said about Neymar to TNT Brasil.

He returned to the Santos Childhood Club in the January transfer window that sought to rediscover its shape after the injuries limited it to only seven appearances in more than 18 months on the Saudi side to the Hilal.

Neymar revealed that he is “returning to my best physical form” after scoring in Sunday's 2-0 victory against Bragantino, his third goal in his last four games for Santos.

“We are very happy to have returned to Santos,” Vinícius said. “That he has noted again and that he is happy, which is always the most important thing.”

Neymar left in the 76th minute of Sunday's game with a problem of the thigh and had to receive treatment at the bank.

However, he then assured fans that he is fine.

Brazil is fifth in its World Cup classification group, seven points drift from Argentine leaders after 12 games.

The Júnior Dorival team has won five and lost four of its classification matches.

Brazil has two games to come, against Colombia in Brasilia on March 20 and the South American 'Classico' Against the Argentine World Champions in Buenos Aires five days later.

“It could be two wonderful games because it is against Colombia and Argentina,” Vinícius said.
