At the end of Week 1 of college football, we have a leader in the clubhouse for catch of the year, and it's possible no one will surpass him.
Offenses stalled in the first quarter of Sunday night's game between No. 23 USC and No. 13 LSU, but lightning struck in Las Vegas on a ridiculous catch by a Trojan receiver.
Miller Moss, the heir to Caleb Williams' throne, stepped up in the pocket to throw a ball into double coverage, but he understandably had faith in Kyron Hudson.

Hudson jumped on one foot and extended his right hand back to make an incredible grab.
Two plays later, the Trojans found the end zone to open the scoring.
Hudson has seen limited playing time in his first three years with the Trojans. He only appeared in one game in 2021 and then combined for 32 receptions for 341 yards over the past two seasons.
However, if he keeps making plays like this, he'll surely get more plays.
USC capped the drive with a two-yard touchdown run by Woody Marks.
USC's No. 23 ranking was its lowest in the preseason poll since it was ranked No. 24 before the 2019 season. Last year, it was ranked No. 6 but eventually fell out of the top 25.
As for the LSU Tigers, they too have a new quarterback replacing a Heisman Trophy winner. Garrett Nussmeier is now under center, replacing reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, who went second to Williams in the NFL Draft.
