UEFA to investigate 4 Real Madrid players about the Atlético game

Four Real Madrid players, including Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior, are being investigated for alleged “indecent behavior” during the Champions League match at Atlético de Madrid on March 12, UEFA said Thursday.

Madrid arrived at the quarterfinals by beating Atlético 4-2 with penalties at the Metropolitan Stadium in the 16-year match after being 2-2 together.

UEFA said he has appointed an inspector of ethics and disciplinary to study the accusations not specified in the case, which also involves Antonio Rüdiger and Dani Ceballos.

The statement added that “more information on this matter will be available in due time.”

Rüdiger, Vinícius and Mbappé began against Atlético, while Ceballos did not appear in the game.

The video clips that circulate on social networks showed Mbappé grabbing their crotch during the celebrations in the field by Madrid winning a penalty shooting.

Any prohibition imposed would force Miss Madrid to Arsenal on April 8 in the first section of the quarterfinals.

Rüdiger scored the decisive kick in the place when Madrid advanced, then led his teammates in a lush dance race around the local field of Atlético.

In a similar case processed by UEFA in the European Championship last year, Madrid player Jude Bellingham received a prohibition of a game suspended for a test period of one year.

Bellingham had scored a goal of detention time for England to level a 16 -round round game against Slovakia when he made a gesture of his hand towards his crotch. England won 2-1 in extra time.

UEFA disciplinary judges found Bellingham guilty of “violating the basic rules of decent behavior” and fined € 30,000 ($ 32,400).
