Cousins Toni and Guille Fernandez became the youngest goalscorers in Barcelona Atletico's history with both goals in Saturday's 3-0 win over Ourense in the Spanish third division.
Just four minutes separated the two goals, and Toni, the younger of the two cousins, broke the record held by Bojan Krkic when he scored in the 41st minute at the age of 16 years, one month and 23 days.
Guille scored just before half-time and became the second youngest goalscorer for the Barça reserve team at 16 years, two months and 21 days.
Barely a month separates these two cousins in age, both born in 2008 and who have already caught the attention of Barça's new coach, Hansi Flick.
Attacking midfielder Guille featured in all three of the first team's pre-season games in the United States this summer against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan, while forward Toni came off the bench in two of the three matches.
Barça rank Bojan, Marc Bernal and Lionel Messi as the five youngest goalscorers in the reserve team, although there are those who argue that Haruna Babangida should also be included.
Former Nigerian winger Babangida played for Barca Atletico in the 1990s and while there is no doubt that Toni is the youngest goalscorer, there are suggestions that Babangida was younger than Guille when he first scored.
