MAIN NEWS: Manchester United still interested in De Ligt
Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt is interested in joining Manchester United, reports Sky Sports Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg.
De Ligt played 22 times for Bayern last season after struggling with injuries, and there are reports suggesting he could leave the Bavarian side this summer following the appointment of new coach Vincent Kompany.
The 24-year-old is said to be interested in a move to Manchester United, and Bayern are aware of his desire to join the Red Devils. However, although negotiations between the two clubs are progressing, an agreement has not yet been reached.
United have reached a verbal agreement with de Ligt on a long-term contract, increasing the chances of a deal being completed.
The tweet indicates that the Dutchman's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, is working on the details of the agreement to help complete the transfer. However, as there are still details to be finalised, a medical examination has not yet been scheduled.
United are reportedly keen to add defensive options this summer. As well as De Ligt, Everton striker Jarrad Branthwaite He has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League giants.

Todibo previously played for the Catalan giants, who would be entitled to €8m, should the 24-year-old leave for the reported fee of €40m.
– AC Milan are still in the race for the Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro MorataAs reported by Calciomercato, although Roma have also been heavily linked with the Spanish striker, Milan are reportedly the only club currently interested in Morata. The report suggests that Milan are preparing a four-year contract, which will see the 31-year-old earn €5.5m per year. However, this will be subject to Atleti's willingness to terminate Morata's contract.
– Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga The 24-year-old is set to leave for Sevilla on loan, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old joined the Premier League club in 2021 but has struggled to establish himself at the Emirates. Lokonga spent last season at Luton Town but looks set to leave the Gunners again. Sevilla also reportedly have an option to make the deal permanent for €12m, with the Spanish side also reportedly covering his wages.

The 18-year-old is reported to have attracted interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, who are the two current options for the teenager. However, United's aforementioned push for De Ligt could cool their interest in Yoro.
