MAIN NEWS: Barça wants to sign Leipzig's Olmo

Barcelona have outlined their plans for a six-year contract with the RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo's representatives, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Olmo's performances at Euro 2024 have further enhanced his reputation and he is one of Barcelona's top targets this summer.

Olmo's agent has received a written offer from the Catalan club that would allow Leipzig to receive his full €60m release clause, either in a lump sum or in stages.

The release clause will change this Saturday, but with negotiations already underway, Barça hopes the German club will maintain the figure for a few more weeks until a deal is reached.

The structure of the deal would see Barca offer Olmo a lower salary in the first two seasons to comply with La Liga's fair play rules, with the figure rising in the third year.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the 26-year-old, while Liverpool, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the situation.
