Manchester United have signed the Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze as a potential target for next summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The 26-year-old reportedly has a £68million release clause that will come into effect at the end of the season.
United manager Erik ten Hag is keen to add more quality to his wingers following the loan move of Jadon Sancho to Chelsea and Marcus Rashford's ineffective form of late.
Eze has impressed at Palace, attracting significant interest in the process, and United are likely to face competition from Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of the England international.

– Juventus remain open to possible signings for the midfielder Arturo Meloaccording to Fabrizio Romano. Several clubs in Turkey have been linked with the Brazilian international, although his current salary at Juventus is reported to make it difficult for interested clubs to reach an agreement.
– Manchester United are willing to hold talks with the midfielder Adrian Rabiot According to the Daily Star, Rabiot is currently a free agent after seeing his contract with Juventus expire at the end of last season, but the Frenchman is yet to secure a new club. Rabiot has been heavily linked with moves to the Saudi Pro League, along with a move to Galatasaray, however, the report suggests the midfielder has turned down both opportunities, leaving the door ajar for United.
– Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres Gyokeres is unlikely to secure a move in January, despite interest from the Premier League, Football Insider can reveal. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are reported to be interested in the striker, however, Gyokeres is unlikely to leave the Portuguese side, with the 26-year-old already settled at the club. On top of this, the Sweden international’s £84m release clause could prove too steep for a number of interested clubs.
– Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in the Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumobut the Bees will not facilitate a January exit, Football Insider suggests. The 25-year-old has attracted significant attention from top clubs, and while there is expected to be interest in January, Brentford will not entertain any overtures. The report reveals that Brentford are keen to send a “clear signal” that they are not prepared to allow Mbeumo to leave during the January window.
– Inter are keeping a close eye on Lille's progress Jonathan DavidCalciomercato reports that the Canadian's contract with Lille expires next summer, which has attracted the attention of several European clubs.
