Tiger Woods showed that he is human with a shot that we have all made many times on the golf course.
Woods made another return to competitive golf on Thursday, playing in the Genesis Invitational at Riviera.
The 15-time major champion shot an over 72, making five birdies on the day. But he couldn't make a par due to a disastrous shot at the 18th.

After hitting a drive in the fairway, Woods was about 180 yards away. So, he was hitting an iron projectile that has been hit approximately a billion times.
But this one stands out from the rest for all the wrong reasons.
Woods hit a dead leg and knew immediately it was ugly. Before he even finished his swing, Woods let go of his club and let it fall behind him.
The ball traveled just 71 yards into the woods.
Woods recovered to reach the green with his third shot, but two-putted for bogey.
After the round, Woods spoke to the media when a reporter said he wouldn't “say the word,” but Woods did.
“Oh, definitely. I stabbed him,” he said. with a smile.

Woods said his back was “spasming” during the last few holes, which resulted in the leg.
“I went down, it wasn't moving,” he said.
Woods was then asked when he last shot, and he couldn't remember.
“It's been a while. It's definitely been a while,” he said. “Other than trying to flop shots and other weird shots around the greens, not from the position I was in.”

Woods needs a win to break the tie with Sam Snead (82) for most tour wins of all time. Thursday marked Woods' first round of professional golf since last year's Open Championship, where he missed the cut.
