After answering questions last month about whether he planned to retire from the Mater if his wife Meredith went into labor, the Schefflers welcomed their son into the world last week. “Welcome to the world little one. Your mom and dad love you so much,” Scheffler wrote on social media.

Max Homa has six victories on the PGA Tour and shares a son with his wife Lacey. Homa advised Scheffler to treat his wife well and manage his time as best he could.
“Man, be very kind to your wife,” Homa said. “Find something you're good at, that you can help out as best you can. Watch your back. Dad's back is a real thing. But I think, I mean, I'm sure he'll give me advice soon because he's very good at it.” everything. He's just very good with your time.”
Homa also talked about some of the things he found he excelled at as a father.
“Well, now things have become different,” Homa told reporters. “You have to do everything. But in the beginning, I'm pretty good with diapers. I don't care. Tiger Woods, winner of 15 majors, suggested that the new father rest as much as possible.
“Get some sleep,” Woods said when asked if he had any advice for Scheffler.
“I mean, obviously he's got him and Meredith, fantastic, having their first time, and those are, like all of us who've had kids, those are tough years and they're ahead of them. He's the number one player in the world, and having a great, stable family life at home is important to having a great life here on Tour.”
Jordan Spieth, a three-time major winner, said he doesn't mind giving Scheffler some advice if he asks, but he also acknowledged that being a father is a unique journey.
“Everyone likes to parent in different ways. I think probably the number one piece of advice you would say is don't tell anyone how to parent because everyone does it differently and it's… I'm glad it's all there.” went well and [Scottie and Meredith are] “He is very well at home and will be able to be here this week.”
