Son Heung-Min scored his first goal to help Los Angeles FC win a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas on Saturday night.

Heung-min scored without assistance for his first goal six minutes in his third appearance in the MLS to give LaFC advantage (11-6-8).

Dallas (7-11-9) achieved even in the 13th minute when Logan Farrington used an assistance from Patrickson Delgado, his third, to score his fifth goal in his career. Farrington had four goals in 29 appearances as a rookie last season.

Michael Collodi finished with four salvages for Dallas in his fifth start in his career. Collodi, 24, has allowed four goals while replacing for the inaugurator of the injured Maarten Paes.

Hugo Lloris kept an opportunity for LaFC, which leads the series of all time 7-4-3 despite a 1-4-2 record in Frisco.

The only victory on the LaFC road in the series was a 3-2 victory on October 20, 2021. The club is 3-3-6 on the road this season.

They have lost only twice in their last 18 games: 1-0 defeats at home to Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps.

Dallas is 3-8-3 at home, but 2-1-2 in his last five games.

LAFC will be the host of San Diego FC on August 31. Dallas returns to action on September 6 at St. Louis City.
