INDIANAPOLIS — The NIT will hold its postseason tournament semifinals and championship next spring at Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse for the second consecutive year.
The 2025 semifinals will be held April 1, with the championship two days later. Friday’s announcement comes as Indianapolis is set to host the Division I, II and III men’s title games, as well as the semifinals and final of the NIT in 2026.
The NIT will feature 32 teams and the first three rounds will be played on campus.
The 2024 NIT semifinals and title game in Hinkle were sold out with more than 9,000 attendees.
The NIT has also added former St. Joseph men's basketball coach Phil Martelli and Conference USA associate basketball commissioner Clifton Douglass to its committee selecting the field.
