Sunday's game at Bayern Munich's home against Wolfsburg has little importance for the hosts, who have nothing left to play and, instead, what is interesting is the work of the club's leaders off the field.
Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals by a 4-3 aggregate defeat meant their last chance of silverware had gone, with the Bayer Leverkusen securing the Bundesliga title last month.

The season may not be over yet, but Bayern are already engaged in an intensifying search for a successor to Tuchel, with several coaches, including Julian Nagelsmann, Xabi Alonso and Ralf Rangnick, preferring to remain in their jobs.
The team is also expected to undergo changes, with Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies among those potentially on the move.
“We have to find the right coach for Bayern and the players who suit him,” the new member of Bayern's sports board of directors, Max Eberl, who took over in February, told Welt TV.
“There will surely be departures and arrivals this summer.”
But he said the team would not “split up.”
“We have spoken to all the players. Obviously it is important for them to know who the new coach will be. But we have already thought about new players and also about who we want to renew the contracts with,” Eberl added.
