Texas A&M baseball head coach Jim Schlossnagle apologized for the actions of two fans who were ejected from the Aggies' College World Series game against Florida after being seen screaming in the Gators dugout in the second entry.

The two fans, both dressed in Texas A&M gear, reportedly mentioned the Gators slugger, who died in 2021 when his father was suspected of killing his two sons before taking his own life and setting fire to his home. The family of the boy, who was 11, was friends with Florida head coach Kevin O'Sullivan, at whom fans reportedly directed their insults.

Schlossnagle dedicated a Happy Father's Day to those who celebrated him as he opened his press conference, but immediately denounced the actions of the two fans following his team's 3-2 victory over the Gators.
