There appears to be no beef between Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes after the wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes appeared to stoke controversy on social media with her apparent support for former President Donald Trump.
Swift joined Travis Kelce and the Mahomes family in Flushing Meadows to watch the U.S. Open. Swift and Brittany Mahomes were photographed lovingly embracing each other.
There didn't appear to be any animosity after Swift and Mahomes sat in different suites as the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. There may have been some, as Mahomes has been embroiled in controversy on social media.

Mahomes' apparent social media like sparked a firestorm on social media in recent weeks. She first voiced her support for Trump on Aug. 13, when she “liked” an Instagram post by Trump that outlined the “2024 Republican platform.” The swimsuit model appeared to respond to the criticism on her Instagram stories.
“Honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you must have some deep-rooted issues that you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote. “There's no reason why your brain is fully developed and you hate seeing others doing well.”

He posted another cryptic message on his social media.
“Contrary to the tone of the world today… you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have different opinions and still be kind,” she wrote on Aug. 26. “Read that again!”
Mahomes was then surprised by comments supporting his stance.
Trump then thanked him for his apparent support.

“I want to thank the beautiful Brittany Mahomes for standing up so strongly for me and for the fact that MAGA is the largest and most powerful political movement in the history of our now failed country,” Trump wrote.
“With crime and illegal immigration totally out of control, INFLATION wreaking havoc on all Americans, and a world laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it's nice to see someone who loves our country and wants to save it from doom. What a great pair! I'll see them both at the Super Bowl!”
All this raised further concerns about a possible rift between the two on Thursday, when they were not photographed together. But all that seems to be a thing of the past.
The group was prepared to see if Taylor Fritz could end the Americans' winless streak at the Grand Slam event.
Fritz will face top seed Jannik Sinner. Fritz defeated Frances Tiafoe in the semifinals and Sinner beat Jack Draper to earn a chance at the championship. Sinner has one Grand Slam title under his belt, while Fritz is seeking his first.
But the pressure is mounting.
Swift, Kelce and the Mahomes family were among the celebrities in attendance at the event. Kelce was fresh off of leading the Chiefs to an opening-night win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. Swift was on hand to watch her boyfriend play.
The two returned to New York after the game. The Chiefs will not play until next Sunday, when the Cincinnati Bengals come to town.
If Fritz pulls off the upset, he will be the first American to win the U.S. Open since Andy Roddick won the tournament in 2003. Roddick defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero in straight sets. It was also the last time an American won any of the four top-level tournaments. Andre Agassi also won the Australian Open in 2003.

Fritz is the closest he has been to reaching it in a long time. It is the first Grand Slam final of his career. He reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open and Wimbledon earlier this year.
