Real Madrid has the hope of resuming host concerts at Santiago Bernabéu, since the work concludes in the stadium renewed this year, the club said, since it registered a record of € 1,185 billion in income.
The board of directors of Madrid published details of the club's accounts for 2024-25 on Thursday, after the team concluded a season that saw them miss an important trophy and reach the semifinals of the Club World Cup this month with the new coach Xabi Alonso.
Bernabéu's re -banization is now close to the completion after six years of construction work, and an obstacle is the suspension of concerts in the place last year after neighbors' complaints about noise levels.
“The final steps of the stadium remodeling will be held during the financial year 2025/26,” Madrid said in a statement detailing the last accounts on Thursday, “including certain catering activities and noise noise reduction improvements for concerts.
“Waiting for the resumption of concerts organized in the stadium, under approved conditions, the club anticipates greater growth in the income of VIP seats, the RM experience and other marketing activities of the stadium, with the remarkable event to organize a NFL game in the stadium.”
Madrid postponed all the next concerts in the Bernabéu in September 2024, after organizing a handful of events in the reconstructed stadium, including Taylor Swift, since they sought to comply with local laws on noise limits.
In addition to the figure of € 1,185 billion in revenues, which increases by 10 percent by 2023-24, when Madrid became the first football club to exceed one billion euros in annual revenues, the latest accounts also include a gain after taxes of € 24.3 million, compared to € 15.6 million of the previous year.
The club also reported having a cash balance of € 166 million, compared to 82 million euros in 2023-24.
The figures do not include the expenditure of Madrid in the extensive remodeling of Bernabéu, which the club represents separately.
Madrid said his total expenditure on the project, as of June 30, 2025, was € 1,347 billion, which said he was “close to the final investment.”
The outstanding balance of the loans that Madrid has borrowed to finance the works of the stadium is € 1,132 billion, the club said.
